Dear Parents/Carers,
Well here we are, two-thirds of the way through the academic year with the Summer Term approaching.
What a turn out it was at Horsham FC the other Saturday! Around 300 Kingslea parents and children attended the match, with the club contacting me after the game to say how well behaved the children were. Well done everyone.

Dear Parents/Carers,
Last week, we had what must have been our most successful and purposeful World Book Day.  KLASS did a fantastic job setting up the book fair which the children absolutely loved, thank you to all our volunteers. It was lovely to see the children choosing books for themselves and often their siblings!

Dear Parents/Carers,
What a busy few weeks it has been since our last newsletter.
It was lovely to see everyone at parents’ evening, looking through the children’s books, talking with the class teachers, browsing the books at the book fair and watching the video about our new parent portal (see more below). Thank you to the House Captains who did an excellent job helping out during both evenings.

You will have seen the video that we were showing in the Main Hall on Parents’ Evening, for our Parent Portal. We have put together the Parent Portal to help signpost you to information and support in areas such as the School Nurse, Mental Health, Finances and Special Needs. Scan the QR to find out more.

Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome to the first newsletter of 2025. Yes 2025!
It’s not just adults who think time flashes by, but it seems Year 2 children do as well. The other day I overheard two Year 2 children talking outside my office by the House Point collection table. They were talking about why some of our House Points tokens are smaller than others. One of the Year 2 children answered ‘It’s because the small ones are from the olden days’. I asked him when the ‘olden days’ were, quick as a flash he replied ‘When we were in Reception!’ Made me laugh.
