Welcome to our solo quarantine learning plans. This link will have been sent to you because your child is at home quarantining for one of a few reasons: your child or a family member has symptoms is awaiting a test result; your child has tested positive; your child has been identified as a close contact of someone outside of school who has tested positive, or you have returned from a country which requires 14 days quarantine on arrival to the UK.
There are different plans for the mornings and the afternoons of solo quarantine learning. For the mornings, please click on your child's year group to download the English and maths learning plan. This plan has been prepared by your child's teacher and contains links to high-quality online lessons and activities which enable pupils to apply the learning. For the afternoons, please choose one of the four afternoon learning plans below - you may wish to look at a few to decide which one your child would most like to do - then work through the activities in any order. Mrs Payne will be the point of contact so please share any work or questions with her via the year group email address. If your child is in quarantine for fewer than the 10 school days on the plan, please note where you finished and learning can be restarted from that point in the event that your child must isolate again.
Each set of afternoon lessons is based on a cartoon video. Below you can find the title of the video, some information about it and a year group guide. Whistleless- Reception to Year 1 - The poor little bird can't whistle so goes on an adventure to learn how to. Catch It - Years 1 to 3 - The meerkats' fruit is being stolen by the vulture. Can they rescue it to eat? Oktapodi- Years 2 to 4 - Two octopuses were living happily together when one was taken. Can they stay together? Lego - Years 4 to 6 - The story of the creation of the successful building block toy.
