​At Kingslea we have the highest expectations of pupils, not only academically but also in terms of their behaviour, attitude and relationships. We do not have a list of do’s or don’t but through every day actions and interactions we work together to embed both rights and responsibilities. We expect our pupils to be considerate of others, to look out for each other  and to show each other respect. When you walk around our school you can see our values in action. For example pupils hold doors open for each other, shake hands after playing football, listen carefully and respond appropriately to each other’s ideas and support each other with their learning.

We do emphasise kindness, random acts of kindness and the ripple effect of acts of kindness. We feel that this simple word ‘kindness’ is extremely powerful in developing a sense of community, respect for others and helps make Kingslea the very special place it is.
