Klass

Klass is Kingslea Primary School’s PTA. Klass has a friendly committee of around 15 people, including school staff and adults with children in Reception to Year 6, who organise a variety of events for the children and their adults to enjoy and, in doing so, raise valuable funds for the school. Being an active member of Klass is a great way to make friends, improve our children’s education and enhance the Kingslea community!
The committee gets together approximately once a month to come up with ideas, decide on the calendar of events and make sure those events happen. Klass’s annual events include Fireworks Night, the Christmas Bazaar, the Summer Fayre, school discos and the Pancake Café. We also raise money by asking people to shop through Amazon Smile  and EasyFundraising , and we run a preloved uniform site  to help keep up with our fast-growing children!
In recent years Klass has contributed funds to the school for high value items such as the refurbishment of the IT suite, iPads, Chromebooks, high tech whiteboards and construction of the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) as well as smaller donations to fund class learning topic activities, year 6 leavers' party, crackers for the Christmas meal, the long-jump pit and Oxford Owl book subscription and more.

We're always on the lookout for new committee members and enthusiastic volunteers to help at specific events or with particular tasks. If you are interested in becoming involved with Klass, you can read our ‘What is Klass ’ guide, visit our website or Facebook page, or get in touch via email. Or just look out for our newletters on ParentMail.
We look forward to meeting you in the future.
