A warm welcome from Kingslea Primary School

​We are delighted to welcome your child to Kingslea Primary School.  The next seven years are a very important period of your child’s life and we look forward to working together in partnership

In order to continue your child's transition to Kingslea, please complete the following steps below.

This contains policies and agreements relating to your child’s time at Kingslea. Please read these carefully before ticking the consent box. Full copies of all these documents are available to view in additional information, agreements tab.
Step 3 - Do you or your child speak/understand a language other than English? If so please complete this form
Step 4 - Check to see if you are eligible to receive additional funding to support your child's education
Eligible children will receive free school milk each day, financial support for school trips, and will also receive an annual uniform allowance.

Details for school uniform can be found here.
All children are entitled to receive free school milk until their fifth birthday.  Please do not do anything, school will register the children to receive this automatically.
Once your child is five, parents are able to order and pay for milk for their child directly from Cool Milk.  This is delivered directly to school together with a list of who has ordered it.
If you wish to order milk for your child after they are five years old,  follow the instructions to register your child  and select ‘If your child is over five’
Daily Timetable:
8.45am-9.00am: Children to enter classrooms with parents, complete morning routine tasks of self-registration and putting things away.  Children will then settle to an activity.  Once children are able to come in independently they will complete a simple writing or maths task on the carpet.

• Book bag (reading journal, coloured sticker reading book and a story book)
• PE kit – White t-shirt, black shorts and a Kingslea hoodie

• Wellie boots to stay in school
• A set of spare school clothes – Trousers/skirt, top, jumper, pants etc
