Thank you all for your very positive feedback to the online learning that Kingslea provided for all children in Summer 20 and Spring 21. By working together we have minimised any negative impact on your child’s education due to the lockdowns.
From September 2021, this section of the website is where you will find our solo quarantine learning plans. This link will have been sent to you because your child is at home quarantining because your child has tested positive.
There are different plans for the mornings and the afternoons of solo quarantine learning. For the mornings, please click on your child's year group to download the English and maths learning plan. This plan has been prepared by Kingslea staff and replicates what the children are learning in school. You will also need to pick up a pack of workbooks from school (these can be delivered to your house if you are unable to come to school). For the afternoons, please choose one of the four afternoon learning plans below - you may wish to look at a few to decide which one your child would most like to do - then work through the activities in any order.
Miss Nicholls will be the point of contact so please share any work or questions with her via [email protected]
Each set of afternoon lessons is based on a cartoon video. Below you can find the title of the video, some information about it and a year group guide. Whistleless- Reception to Year 1 - The poor little bird can't whistle so goes on an adventure to learn how to. Catch It - Years 1 to 3 - The meerkats' fruit is being stolen by the vulture. Can they rescue it to eat? Oktapodi- Years 2 to 4 - Two octopuses were living happily together when one was taken. Can they stay together? Lego - Years 4 to 6 - The story of the creation of the successful building block toy.
