’m sure you have seen the poppy display on the bridge over Harwood Road. A number of years ago, as part of our whole school work on WW1, every child in the school painted a poppy. Over the last two years all Reception children have painted their own poppy to add to the wave which is now displayed on the bridge. If you haven't seen it please do have a look.

As I’ve already said, it has been a fantastic start to the term. It is lovely to have the children back. It is obvious that they want to be here with their teachers and with their friends, they are enjoying the routine and structure of school, and they are really engaging with their learning in such a positive way.

Welcome back after the summer break, and a very special welcome to all our new families, whether you are starting in Reception or in other year groups. Every staff member has been able to return to work and we are all looking forward to having the children in and returning to a sense of normality.
