Dear Parents/Carers, This is the final newsletter of 2022, and of the Autumn Term. I’d just like to take a moment to thank parents for your support this term. As always, it has been a busy summer at Kingslea. For those of you who have been on-site, you will have seen that the well-being walk is complete and the outdoor area between the Year 4 and Year 5 classrooms has been resurfaced. Click to read more. Dear Parents, Thank you for your attendance at parents’ evening. We hope you found the additional summer meeting useful, and that it allowed you to discuss your child’s year and what was written on their report. As a school, we are very pleased with the progress the children have made this year. Where previously the resilience and independence of many pupils had been impacted by Covid and they had become reliant on support for tasks that previously were completed without an adult, there have recently been numerous conversations about the increased maturity of these pupils. Please click to read more. Dear Parents, On Wednesday, children will be meeting their new class teachers as part of our transition process. This is the day when Year 6 visit their secondary schools and our new Reception children come for another visit. In the afternoon, all classes across the school will spend time with their new class teacher, in their new classroom. Click for more details. Dear Parents, I just wanted to start the newsletter off with thanking all of you for the support that you have given to your children and to the school so far this term; it makes such a huge difference to the feeling, the achievements and the success of every individual child and the school as a whole.
